Your privacy on Tahiti Telegraph
Last updated October 30, 2026
Tahiti Telegraph is brought to you by Tahiti Time. This page tells you what we collect, why, and who receives it. We do not sell your information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits. A banner asks for your choice on your first visit.
- If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to count your visits.
- If you decline, or have not chosen yet, no analytics cookies are set. Google Tag Manager still loads, and Google Analytics sends Google signals without cookies, such as the page you viewed and your browser type. Google uses these signals to estimate visitor numbers.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline and do not show the banner.
- We never allow advertising cookies or ad personalization.
Your browser stores your choice on your device. You can change it here at any time.
Google's own policy explains how Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The newsletter
When you subscribe, we keep your email address and the date you joined. We use it only to send the Monday dispatch and a welcome email. Resend delivers our emails.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we stop all emails and keep your address marked as unsubscribed. To have your address deleted, contact us.
The partner form
When you send the partner form, we keep your name, company, email address, website and message. Our team receives a copy by email. We use it only to reply to you about a partnership.
Partner ad clicks
When you click a partner's ad, we add one to a click count for that ad. The count does not record who clicked. The link to the partner's site carries a tag that names Tahiti Telegraph as the source of the visit.
Hosting and fonts
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our data. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also sends your IP address to Google.
Children
Tahiti Telegraph is for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
